NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


The Newport Housing Authority has prepared an Agency Plan as required by the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. A copy of the plan will be available for review between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday – Thursday at the office of the Newport Housing Authority, 440 Lennon Circle, Newport, Tennessee 37821.

A public hearing was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Monday April 27, 2026, at the Newport Housing Authority, 440 Lennon Circle, Newport, Tennessee 37821. to receive comments on the 2026-2030 Agency Plan, However HUD has not opened the portal for the submittal of the Agency Plan. The PORTAL will not be open till May so the Notice of the Public Hearing has been extended till Monday, May 18, 2026 @ 11:30 a.m.
